KIPPRA held a stakeholder workshop on the Public Affairs Index (PAI) on 3rd October 2023 in Nairobi. The workshop brought together representatives from county governments, ministries, departments, and agencies. The PAI is a framework for monitoring delivery of public services at the 47 counties in Kenya. Key areas of focus are grouped under 10 pillars namely fiscal management, economic performance, human capital development, essential infrastructure and urban development, environment management, transparency and accountability, crime, law order and justice, water sanitation and hygiene, food security and nutrition and social welfare.
