KIPPRA held a sectoral stakeholder dissemination workshop of the Kenya Economic Report 2022, focusing on Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) and the digital economy) on 23rd May 2023.
Discussions were mainly on building resilience through the digital economy and leveraging ST&I for a resilient and knowledge-based economy.
Stakeholders were drawn from various institutions, including Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, State Department of Higher Education and Research, State Department for ASALs and Regional Development, State Department of Broadcasting, Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat (VDS), Kenya National Innovation Agency (KENIA), Kenya Space Agency (KSA), National Cybercrime Coordination Committee, National Drought Management Authority (NDMA), Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), National Biosafety Authority (NBA), Tegemeo Institute, Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KOTDA), Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI).
