KIPPRA Staff Plant Trees in Naivasha to Mark National Tree Planting Day

KIPPRA participated in a tree planting exercise at the Naivasha Wildlife Research and Training Institute (WRTI) Game Farm to mark the inaugural National Tree Planting Day on 13th November 2022. A team of staff led by the Director of Corporate Services, Ms Irene Mithia, participated in the exercise whose main aim was to contribute to the achievement of the Government’s target of planting 15 billion trees by 2030 and combating the effects of climate change.

The team also conducted an assessment of the 2,000 trees planted on the same Game Farm by KIPPRA staff in the past.
