KIPPRA Participates in the Launch of a Report on Africa Development Realities and Partnerships

KIPPRA Executive Director, Dr Rose Ngugi was part of a panel discussion at the launch of a report titled “Old Problems and New Realities in Africa and the Role of Development Cooperation” by University of Nairobi’s Institute of Development Studies and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) on 1st November 2023. The report delves into Africa’s development realities and partnerships.

In 2022, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation’s ‘Rethinking Development’ project embarked on a series of roundtable discussions and consultations with expert communities and researchers in Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Malawi, and South Africa in order to tap directly into discourse on pressing issues and development challenges in Africa. This report synthesizes and discuss important insights from these deliberations.
