KIPPRA hosted visitors from World Bank on 16th December 2022. The meeting was aimed at discussing opportunities for partnership and knowledge exchange. The deliberations also focused on strategic priorities, technical quality of economic analysis in the African region and need for major regional economic studies.
The KIPPRA team present during the meeting included Executive Director Dr Rose Ngugi and senior policy analysts Dr John Karanja (Trade & Foreign Policy Department), Mr Benson Kiriga (Macroeconomics Department) and Mr Boaz Munga (Social Sector Department).
The World Bank team was led by Africa Region Chief Economist Dr Andrew Dabalen and Practice Manager, Poverty and Equity Global Practice Dr Pierella Paci.
