Dissemination Workshop on Enhancing a Resilient and Sustainable Livestock Industry

KIPPRA held a stakeholder dissemination workshop on enhancing a resilient and sustainable livestock industry in Kenya on 30th May 2023. Among the participants included the PS State Department for Livestock Development Hon. Jonathan Mueke and representatives from county governments, state corporations and research institutions.

The workshop, which was led by the Productive Sector Department, was aimed at sharing and discussing the findings of the Kenya Economic Report 2022 chapter on enhancing a resilient and sustainable livestock industry.

Participants were drawn from State Department for Livestock Development, National Drought Management Authority (NDMA), Council of Governors, County Government of Narok, Kajiado County Government, Isiolo County Government, Internal Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and Tegemeo Institute.
