KIPPRA built the capacity of officers from various county governments and government agencies on applied policy research methods on 9th – 14th October 2023 in Kisumu. The sessions, which were facilitated by KIPPRA policy analysts from the Capacity Building Department, gave the officers an opportunity to gain knowledge, understanding and skills in conducting effective policy research and analysis to inform decision making and policy development. The capacity building workshop brought together 21 officers from Makueni County Government, Baringo County Government, Kenya Development Corporation (KDC), State Department for Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
