The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) Executive Director Dr. Rose Ngugi participated in a two day Think20 (T20) Summit in Mysuru, India. The T20 Summit was the milestone event of T20 India that brought together distinguished Taskforce members and policy experts from around the world. T20 India is represented by 131 members from 125 institutions from the G20 and other invited countries, along with eight T20 International Advisory Board members. The T20 Summit was held on the 1st of August to the 2nd of August 2023.
Dr Ngugi was one of the participants in the T20 Africa standing group coordination meeting on the sidelines of the Summit.
The T20 Summit provided a platform for Taskforce members and policy experts to collectively showcase ideas and insights on the priorities of India’s G20 Presidency including issues such as macroeconomics and trade, digital transformation, lifestyle for environment, green transition, global financial order, accelerating SDGs and reforming multilateralism.
