The National Gender Research Agenda Technical Working Group Meets PS for Cabinet Affairs

The National Gender Research Agenda technical working group, whose membership includes KIPPRA, called on the Principal Secretary for Cabinet Affairs, Dr Idris Salim Dokota on 23rd Jan 2026 to strengthen collaboration on evidence-based policymaking in gender, equality and inclusion. The team was led by the National Gender and Equality Commission CEO Dr Purity Ngina and KIPPRA was represented by Assistant Director, Policy Analysis, Governance Division Dr Nancy Nafula.

Discussions at the meeting centered around advancing equality and inclusion in Kenya, including building capacity in gender research and undertaking gender research focusing on root courses. The engagement provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on deepening inter-institutional cooperation and strengthening the National Gender Research Agenda for Kenya.
