KIPPRA in collaboration with The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) hosted a workshop on the review of food and nutrition security policy on 17th February 2025. The workshop was officially opened by the Ag. Executive Director, Dr Eldah Onsomu and attended by senior officers from the Ministries of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Health and ASALs.
The workshop aims to discuss strategies for enhancing food security and improving nutrition outcomes in the country by reviewing existing food and nutrition security policies. In her remarks, the Ag. Executive Director emphasized the crucial role of evidence-based policymaking in addressing food security challenges.
