KIPPRA Staff Wins Internal Audit Award

KIPPRA participated in the prestigious Internal Audit and Risk Awards hosted by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kenya on 15th April 2025. The event, held in Nairobi, brought together audit professionals and institutions from across the country to recognize excellence and innovation in internal audit and risk management practices.

Representing KIPPRA at the event was a team of staff from the Internal Audit, Finance, Strategy and Planning and Human Resource Departments, whose participation underscored the organization’s commitment to upholding strong governance, risk management, and internal control systems. The highlight of the evening was the recognition of Ms. Faith Musya, KIPPRA’s Deputy Director of Internal Audit, who was awarded 2nd runners-up in the Quality Assessor Student of the Year category.

Ms. Musya’s recognition is a testament to her exemplary performance, dedication to professional development, and contribution to advancing internal audit standards within the public sector. The Quality Assessor Student of the Year Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding understanding and application of quality assurance principles in internal auditing.
