KIPPRA Staff End Year Party

On Friday, December 20, 2024, KIPPRA staff gathered at Safari Park Hotel for their annual End Year Party, a vibrant celebration of the institute’s accomplishments and a time to reflect on milestones achieved throughout the year.

The event was graced by the Principal Secretary for Economic Planning, Mr. James Muhati, CBS, who commended KIPPRA’s vital role in shaping public policy. He reaffirmed the government’s continued support for the institute’s mission and future initiatives.

Also present were KIPPRA Board Chair, Prof. Paul Wachana, KIPPRA Board members, and Acting Executive Director, Dr. Eldah Onsomu, who highlighted key achievements in her remarks.

A notable highlight of the celebration was the heartfelt recognition of Dr. Rose Ngugi, OGW, the outgoing Executive Director. Dr. Ngugi’s visionary leadership over the past eight years has elevated KIPPRA to global prominence as a leading think-tank. She was honoured with numerous gifts and warm tributes from staff and stakeholders.

Adding to the funfair, KIPPRA staff embraced the festive spirit, coming together to dance and celebrate with joy and enthusiasm, notably to popular hit song “Vaida” by Harry Richie. The joyful energy and camaraderie on display truly captured the essence of the day.

The festivities concluded with cake-cutting, entertainment, and a vote of thanks. The End Year Party was a fitting celebration of teamwork, resilience, and excellence, setting the stage for an even brighter 2025.
