KIPPRA Signs MOU with the Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board

On 9th May 2025, KIPPRA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board. The MOU outlines mutual areas of collaboration between the two institutions focusing on undertaking joint resource mobilization, strengthening the Institute’s capacity in strategic communication and joint content creation and communication of the institute’s programmes. The signing ceremony was attended by KIPPRA Ag. Executive Director, Dr Eldah Onsomu and the CEO KYEB, Ms Lilian Kimetto, in the presence of staff from both institutions. This partnership marks a significant step towards advancing research communication.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Onsomu emphasized the importance of effective communication in enhancing the visibility and impact of policy research. “This partnership will go a long way in ensuring that KIPPRA’s research outputs are not only accessible but also communicated in ways that drive informed decision-making across sectors,” she said.

Ms. Kimetto welcomed the partnership as a timely and strategic move to strengthen knowledge dissemination and promote a culture of evidence-based governance. “The Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board is committed to ensuring that valuable policy research reaches the wider public and contributes to national development narratives,” she noted.
