KIPPRA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oxfam Kenya to strengthen collaboration in advancing evidence-based policy and inclusive development on 30th July 2025. The partnership seeks to leverage the strengths of both institutions in policy research, advocacy, and implementation to foster sustainable and equitable socio-economic growth.

Under the MoU, KIPPRA and Oxfam Kenya will collaborate in several key areas, including joint publication of research and policy papers on priority national and regional development issues, policy dialogues and convenings, such as the Kenya Think Tanks Symposium, to promote cross-sector knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement, data sharing and peer review of research products, capacity building initiatives targeting policymakers, researchers, and development practitioners, support for youth engagement in climate action and university programmes to nurture the next generation of policy thinkers and change-makers.
The MoU was signed by KIPPRA Executive Director Dr. Eldah Onsomu and Oxfam Interim Executive Director Mr. Henry Isura, in the presence of staff from both institutions.
