KIPPRA Participates in National Cashew Conference 2026

KIPPRA participated in the National Cashew Conference 2026 on April 28, 2026, with Assistant Director, Productive Sector Department, Dr Evans Ngenoh representing the Institute in a panel discussion on strengthening Kenya’s cashew value chain.

Organized by the Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA), the conference brought together stakeholders from across the cashew sector to discuss strategies for expanding market access, enhancing processing capacity, promoting sustainability and driving inclusive growth.

The discussions highlighted the need for product innovation, quality standardization, climate change adaptation, value addition and supportive policy and institutional frameworks to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of the cashew industry.
