KIPPRA in collaboration with the Joint Research Centre (JRC) held a consultative meeting on macro and micro policy modelling aimed at strengthening evidence-based policy analysis on 1st October 2025. The meeting focused on enhancing policy modelling tools, strengthening capacity building initiatives, and fostering networking and collaboration between the two institutions to support more robust and informed policy decision-making.
The workshop was officiated by KIPPRA Executive Director Dr Eldah Onsomu and in attendance were Mr Pascal Tillie from JRC, Senior Policy Analysts Adan Shibia and Shadrack Mwatu from the KIPPRA’s Economic Modelling Hub alongside other KIPPRA and JRC staff.
