KIPPRA hosted the KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETS) on the 26th – 27th September 2024 at the National Youth Service Paramilitary Academy in Gilgil, Nakuru County. The theme for the event was Job Market Dynamics and Opportunities for Youth in Kenya. The two- day event was graced by KIPPRA Board Vice-Chair Ms Christine Wanjala, KIPPRA’s Executive Director Dr Rose Ngugi and NYS’s Director Paramilitary Academy, Ms Loise Koech. The two-day event aimed to build the capacity of the TVETs communities in understanding the public policy making process. Also present were the Director Economic Management, Dr Eldah Onsomu, Senior Policy Analyst Mr Victor Mose among other KIPPRA staff and Young Professionals. The event brought together over 500 students and representatives from government and private institutions.
