KIPPRA hosted the KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETS) on the 4th – 5th February 2026 at the Chuka University in Tharaka- Nithi County. The theme for the event was Job Market Dynamics and Opportunities for Youth in Kenya. The two-day event was graced by KIPPRA Board Member Mr. Joseph Tiampati who represented the Board Chair and the Assistant Director, Library, Ms. Winnie Nguyu who was representing the Executive Director and hosted by the Chuka University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei M’Ikiugu.
The two-day event aimed to build the capacity of the TVETs communities in understanding the public policy making process. Also present were the KIPPRA Policy Analyst Mr Silvanus Opiyo among other KIPPRA staff. The event brought together over 250 students and representatives from government and private institutions.
