KIPPRA Hosts Smachs Foundation Staff

KIPPRA hosted youth from Smachs Foundation on 7th August 2023. In their efforts to empower young people to lead the fight against hunger and climate change in Kenya, the Smachs Foundation seeks to usher in a new age of youth-led and climate smart agriculture.

The meeting aimed at exploring collaboration in climate action and to actively contribute to food security through smart, mechanized agriculture. Speaking at the meeting KIPPRA’s Executive Director, Dr Rose Ngugi noted that KIPPRA is already collaborating with and supporting youth in climate change action and will continue spearheading the climate action agenda through research and capacity building.
