On November 6, 2024, the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) hosted a delegation from the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, Germany. The delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Julia Maria Struß and Prof. Tom Kwanya, was welcomed by KIPPRA’s Director of Corporate Services, Ms. Irene Mithia.
The meeting focused on exploring collaborative opportunities between the three institutions. Key focus areas included capacity building in policy analysis, knowledge exchange in data and knowledge management, research communication for data projects, staff exchange programs, and internship opportunities for students from Potsdam and TUK.
The session brought together representatives from KIPPRA, TUK, and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, emphasizing a shared commitment to fostering knowledge-sharing and strengthening academic and policy research ties.
