KIPPRA Hosts CEO East African Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture

KIPPRA hosted the East African Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (EACCIA) CEO and Regional Coordinator, Mr. Charles Kahuthu on 10th February 2026. He was received by the KIPPRA Executive Director Dr Eldah Onsomu. The strategic engagement aimed at strengthening the collaboration between KIPPRA and EACCIA in supporting local industry growth.

The visit comes on the heels of a collaborative effort between KIPPRA and EACCIA on a special report titled “Promoting Local Cotton, Textile and Apparel Manufacturing in the Context of the Second-Hand Clothing Economy.” Also present during the meeting were Ag. Director for Integrated Development, Dr. John Karanja, and Deputy Director for Private Sector Development Department, Prof. Joseph Kieyah.
