KIPPRA hosted a delegation from the Office of the President for a benchmarking exercise focused on knowledge management systems and best practices on 30th May 2025.
The visiting team, led by Mr. David Kiteto, Director of Research and Knowledge Management in the Office of the President, was warmly received by KIPPRA’s Acting Executive Director, Dr. Eldah Onsomu, alongside senior staff from the Institute’s knowledge management department.
The benchmarking visit aimed to facilitate learning and knowledge exchange on how KIPPRA has structured its knowledge management systems to support evidence-based policy research, institutional memory, and effective dissemination of policy outputs.
During the engagement, the KIPPRA team showcased the Institute’s approach to organizing, storing, and sharing research knowledge — including digital repositories, internal knowledge-sharing platforms, and external stakeholder engagement strategies. Discussions also covered tools for capturing institutional knowledge, promoting research uptake, and fostering a learning culture within public institutions.
