KIPPRA led by the Executive Director, Dr. Eldah Onsomu, hosted a delegation from the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) led by the Director General, Prof. Mary Gikungu on 4th August 2025.
The meeting provided a platform to explore areas of collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in capacity building, knowledge sharing, and joint policy development. Both parties expressed commitment to fostering a partnership that promotes the integration of research, culture, and heritage in national policy formulation and implementation. The discussions also laid the groundwork for the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize future cooperation between KIPPRA and NMK.

In attendance from KIPPRA were Dr. Eliud Moyi, Deputy Director for Partnerships, and Mr. Nahashon Mwongera, Principal Planning and Strategy Officer, alongside several officials from both institutions. Speaking during the engagement, Dr. Onsomu welcomed the collaboration, noting that it aligns with KIPPRA’s mandate to promote evidence-based policy and institutional partnerships that support Kenya’s socio-economic transformation.
