KIPPRA Hosts a Delegation from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

KIPPRA hosted a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on 8th December 2025 to explore collaboration on tailored capacity-building programmes for Somali government officials under the Youth Employment Project for Somalia (YEPS 2). The JICA delegation, comprising Mr Sanjeeb Ghorasanne, Ms Ruth Njenga, and Ms Sumaya Nur, was received by Dr Eliud Moyi, Acting Director for Economic Planning, and Mr Victor Mose, Acting Head of the Capacity Building Department at KIPPRA.

Discussions at the meeting focused on designing customized training programmes for officials from Somalia’s implementing ministries, aligned with the project’s objectives to strengthen skills development, support MSMEs, and enhance institutional capacity.
