On 10th July 2025, The Executive Director of the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), Dr. Eldah Onsomu, paid a courtesy call on the Principal Secretary, State Department for Economic Planning, Dr. Bonface Makokha.
Dr. Onsomu was accompanied by a delegation from the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) led by Ms. Brenda Chongo. The discussions focused on the implementation of policy priorities outlined in the Kenya Country Economic Transformation Outlook (CETO), which was launched yesterday by KIPPRA in collaboration with ACET.
The meeting provided an opportunity to deliberate on strategies for advancing Kenya’s economic transformation agenda through evidence-based policies and multi-sectoral collaboration.
Also in attendance were Ms. Anne Gitonga, Senior Policy Analyst at KIPPRA, and Dr. Julius Gatune and Mr. Richmond Commodore from ACET.
