KIPPRA Donates Sundries at the 2026 Term One Kisumu County Athletics Championships

KIPPRA participated in the 2026 Term One Kisumu County Athletics Championships held on 28th and 29th March 2026 at Bar Korwa Comprehensive School in Seme Sub-County. The event, organized by the Kisumu County Primary Special Schools Sports Association for Learners with Special Needs, was guided by the theme “Enhancing Inclusion in Education.” The championships brought together learners, educators, and stakeholders committed to advancing inclusive education and supporting learners with special needs. The event was graced by the Principal Secretary, State Department for Children Services, Ms Carren Ageng’o.

Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee, KIPPRA supported the initiative as part of its broader commitment to empowering Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and vulnerable groups. The Institute donated essential supplies to support learners’ well-being and ensure continuity in their education. The donation is expected to contribute to improved learning conditions by addressing basic needs that often hinder consistent school attendance and performance among learners with special needs.

The event underscored the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in promoting inclusive education and enhancing the welfare of learners with special needs, while reinforcing KIPPRA’s role in supporting community-focused initiatives.
