KIPPRA held a dissemination workshop on sustainable forest management and climate change in Kenya on 26th September 2024. The workshop that was spearheaded by the Productive Sector Department, aimed to disseminate key findings and recommendations from the recently concluded policy research papers on Implication of forest restoration on forest density and socioeconomic effects; technical efficiency in firms dealing in forest primary products; and adaptive forest management and alternate energy sources in tea industry. The workshop brought together stakeholders from Youth in Climate Action, KenInvest, MSEA, Kenya Meteorological Department, Kenya Water Towers Agency, Tea Board of Kenya.
