KIPPRA Develops Policy to Guide its CSR activities

KIPPRA has developed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy to guide implementation of CSR activities. The policy which is in line with Mwongozo Code of Governance sets a broad framework and gives direction for implementing CSR activities by focusing on community engagement, capacity building, environmental sustainability and staff involvement among others.

Implementation of the policy will guide the institute in responding to priority needs of the community, enhance KIPPRA’s visibility and corporate image and contribute to achievement of sustainable development.

The policy focuses on the following key areas namely: education and capacity building, environmental conservation and sustainability, promotion of community engagement and strengthening the role of staff and private sector in CSR activities.
