On 1st April 2026, KIPPRA convened a validation workshop on strengthening oversight and accountability in Kenya’s Public Finance Management (PFM) systems. The workshop brought together representatives from public and private institutions to review the findings of a report aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability and effectiveness in public finance.
Speaking on behalf of the Executive Director, Acting Director for Economic Management Dr Eliud Moyi underscored the importance of collaboration in strengthening Kenya’s PFM systems and ensuring prudent management of public resources.
The workshop, moderated by Jacob Nato, provided participants with an opportunity to review the report, share practical insights and offer recommendations to strengthen oversight and accountability frameworks.
