KIPPRA Commemorates International Day of Sign Language

KIPPRA commemorated the International Day of Sign Language on 24th September 2024. The Institute sensitized staff on the use of sign language and provided basic sign language training for the staff. This annual event promotes the importance of sign languages and the cultural, social, and educational rights of Deaf and hard-of-hearing people worldwide. The day also highlights the unique value of sign language in breaking communication barriers, fostering inclusivity, and empowering deaf communities.
