KIPPRA met Mombasa County Commissioner Mr Mohamed Noor Hassan on May 7, 2026, to discuss preparations for the 9th KIPPRA Annual Regional Conference, scheduled to take place from May 20 to 22 in Mombasa County.
The KIPPRA delegation, led by Board Chairperson Prof. Paul Wachana and Executive Director Dr Eldah Onsomu, briefed the County Commissioner on the conference programme, with discussions focusing on security arrangements and protocol coordination for high-profile dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, H.E. Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya.
Mr Hassan welcomed the delegation and assured KIPPRA of the County Commissioner’s full support to facilitate a successful conference. The meeting also outlined key roles and responsibilities for the participating teams to ensure smooth coordination ahead of the event.
