KIPPRA Awarded for Youth Empowerment Initiatives

KIPPRA Executive Director, Dr Eldah Onsomu, has been recognized with The CEOs Wellness Award under the Intellectual Wellness category for her exceptional dedication to championing youth empowerment across universities, TVET institutions, and young professionals. The award also acknowledges KIPPRA’s role in enhancing youth employability and skills development through flagship initiatives, including the KIPPRA Young Professionals Programme, the KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities and TVETs (KMPUT), and other capacity-building programmes such as youth engagement in climate action.

Organized under the CEOs Wellness Awards initiative and sponsored by Career Route Solutions (CRS) and Wellness 360, the event celebrates CEOs who go beyond their organizational mandates to promote well-being, inspire positive change, and drive community empowerment. The awards ceremony was graced by High Court Judge, Justice Nzioka wa Makau, and the award was received on behalf of the Executive Director by Senior Policy Analyst Boaz Munga.
