The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) and the County Assemblies Forum (CAF) have officially partnered to bolster the policy development capacities of County Assemblies. This collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 5, 2024. The MoU was signed by KIPPRA Executive Director Dr Rose Ngugi and CAF CEO Ms Lonah Losem.
The partnership aims to equip County Assemblies with the tools and expertise needed to formulate policies and initiatives that attract private sector investment. By enhancing these capacities, the agreement seeks to strengthen the role of County Assemblies in fostering county-level development and economic growth.
This initiative underscores the commitment of both organizations to driving sustainable development through strategic collaboration and capacity building at the grassroots level.
