KIPPRA-ACET Policy Forum on the Digital Economy Program

KIPPRA, in collaboration with the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET), held a policy engagement forum on the Digital Economy Program on 11th November 2025. The session opened with welcoming remarks from Dr Eliud Moyi, KIPPRA Deputy Director for Partnerships and lead author of the Kenya Economic Transformation Outlook (CETO) report. Martha Naikumi, Policy Analyst, presented key findings from the CETO Deep Dive on the Digital Economy, while Anne Gitonga, Senior Policy Analyst, shared insights from stakeholder mapping to inform policy recommendations for enhanced adoption and implementation.

The forum also featured a moderated discussion led by Prof. Julius Gatune of ACET, focusing on implementation pathways, recent policy developments, stakeholder perspectives, and critical success factors for advancing digital transformation in Kenya’s economy.
