KIPPRA, in collaboration with the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF), convened a high-level Dissemination and Policy Dialogue Workshop on April 30, 2026, to strengthen oversight and accountability in Kenya’s Public Finance Management (PFM) systems.
The workshop brought together policymakers, oversight institutions, development partners and governance experts to deliberate on the findings of a recent study examining gaps and opportunities within Kenya’s PFM framework.
Discussions focused on strengthening transparency, fiscal discipline and institutional accountability in the management of public resources. Participants also explored practical measures to enhance the efficiency of existing systems, reduce leakages and promote prudent use of public funds.
