Dissemination Workshop on the RESET Project

KIPPRA, in collaboration with the Kenya Revenue Authority, hosted a dissemination workshop on the RESET Project on 31st July 2025 in Nairobi.

The workshop, themed “Evidence-Based Reforms for a Healthier and More Accountable Alcohol Taxation System in Kenya,” brings together stakeholders to share evidence, explore reform proposals, and strengthen alcohol regulation for improved public health outcomes. KIPPRA Executive Director, Dr. Eldah Onsomu, graced the occasion and delivered the opening remarks.

Organizations represented include the International Institute for Legislative Affairs (IILA), NACADA, Kenya Association of Manufacturers, National Taxpayers Association, Nairobi City County Government (NCCG), and the Alcohol Beverages Association of Kenya (ABAK), among others.
