KIPPRA hosted a dissemination workshop on the study “Leveraging on Special Drawing Rights (SDR) for Sustaining Economic Recovery in Kenya” on 5th August 2025.
The workshop drew participants from key institutions including Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), and Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), among others. The KRA team is led by Chief Manager, Research & Surveys, Mr. Joseph Sirengo, while AERC is represented by Dr. Charles Owino, Head of Resource Mobilization.
Discussions focused on how Kenya can better leverage Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) to support and sustain economic recovery efforts.
