KIPPRA capacity-built officers from the Research Department from the Parliament on Tools for Policy Analysis on 22nd May – 1st June 2024 at the Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) in Nairobi. The sessions which were facilitated by KIPPRA Policy Analysts Mr Victor Mose and Mr Silvanus Opiyo aimed to build the capacity of officers with prerequisite knowledge and skills required for understanding policy analysis during the policy design. Further, the participants were equipped with the necessary skills to identify data, the appropriate tools, and information sources, collect it, analyze it and interpret the results correctly in the policy formulation cycle. The capacity building workshop brought together 25 officers from the National Parliament.
