KIPPRA participated in a breakfast meeting convened by the State Department for Economic Planning with its Semi-Autonomous Government Agencies (SAGAs) on 4th November 2025. The session presided over by the Principal Secretary for Economic Planning, Dr Bonface Makokha, brought together Chief Executive Officers from the various SAGAs to review progress, strengthen collaboration, and discuss budget priorities for the 2025/2026 Financial Year. The meeting provided a platform to highlight key achievements by the agencies and reinforced the Government’s commitment to effective planning and resource allocation for national development.

A key highlight of the engagement was the introduction of KIPPRA’s newly appointed Executive Director, Dr Eldah Onsomu, to the SAGA leadership by the Principal Secretary. KIPPRA was represented by Dr Onsomu alongside members of the Institute’s Senior Management Team. The forum reaffirmed the State Department’s dedication to fostering synergy among its agencies in advancing Kenya’s socio-economic development agenda.
