A delegation from the County Government of Baringo visited KIPPRA for an implementation meeting following the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions on 3rd July 2025.
The Baringo County team was led by Mr. James Chepkonga, Chief Officer, and was received by Dr. Eliud Moyi, Head of the Partnerships Department at KIPPRA. The inception meeting aimed to develop a detailed implementation work plan to operationalize the MoU, focusing on mutually beneficial areas of collaboration and partnership.

The discussions centered on identifying priority areas for joint action, including research and policy analysis, capacity building, data management, and evidence-based planning to support county development initiatives.
Also in attendance from the Baringo County Government were Mr. Charles Cherogony, Director of Research, Planning and Public Policy, and Mr. Jacob Kendagor, Director of Economic Planning and Budget. The meeting was attended by several KIPPRA staff members who will be directly involved in supporting the implementation process.
