Trade policy environment provides for regulations and agreement that control exports and imports in the country. Kenya is a signatory to multilateral, regional and bilateral agreements all geared towards enhancing Kenya’s market access. Its therefore important to establish how the trade policy space will promote trade competitiveness, product diversification and inclusiveness. The objective of this research is to analyze trade competitiveness diagnostics for Kenya, establish trade competitiveness and innovation of the Kenyan firms and analyze effect of economic diplomacy on product diversification in Kenya.
