KIPPRA’s Dr Bernadette Wanjala was among 35 tax specialists, practitioners and researchers from 14 countries who attended the International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD) workshop on Gender and Tax in Africa held in Accra, Ghana from the 9-11 November 2016.


The workshop, which was organized in partnership with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), was aimed at facilitating discussion of issues surrounding the theme, and to develop a research agenda on gender and taxation in Africa.


ICTD is a global policy research network devoted to improving the quality of tax policy and administration in developing countries, with a special focus on sub-Saharan Africa.
